SYMPOSIUM
Symposium E:
Frontier Electronics, Spintronics, Phononics
This symposium covers all aspects of electronics, spintronics, and phononics from fundamentals to applications and discusses cutting-edge research in these areas. Sample research topics that span the symposium’s scope are new and existing inorganic and organic materials in the form of bulk, thin films, or nanostructures which have advanced properties including conducting, semiconducting, insulating, dielectric, magnetic, and thermoelectric properties. This symposium also encourages submissions on synthesis and processing technologies for these materials and structures as well as their physical properties and device performance.
Topics will include:
-
All functional materials including semiconductors and magnetic materials
-
Various devices including transistors, solar cells, memories, and thermoelectric devices
-
Crystal growth and design of thin films and nanostructures
-
Physical properties of advanced materials and structures
-
Novel device concepts and processing
